Probably see Shulver and Johnston .Johnston is the only one anywhere near being ready for S/L  imo

Johnstone played well preseason hopefully he gets a chance and plays well to keep his place

If we have the number of injuries that are rumoured, we will be going with whoever is fit enough to play, which could well be a chance for some of the youngers to get a taste of playing Leeds on their own patch.



A bit of youthful enthusiasm may just help some of the older heads realise what playing for Wakefield should be all about.

But therein lies one of the problems IMO, the young lads will bust a gut when given the chance, only to be replaced when the “so called” 1st teamers are back from injury.

But John Kear did exactly the same if not worse so it's not just Agar, didn't we make a fantastic start to a season using a lot of youngsters like Jay Pitts etc. Kear made a statement that any returnees would have to win their place back then he promptly dropped all the young players.

Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate it’s been going on for years, ironically in a period when there was no pressure from relegation.



But I remember Wigan giving Tomkins his chance over Tim Smith, can you imagine that happening with us?



If a young player gets a chance & starts ripping it up he should keep his place, regardless of who he’s replacing.



Very few of our squad give a toss what happens to the club next year, no pride in the badge, no pride on the pitch.

playing crowther, jowitt, shulver or any other young un with this lot could set them back years. they want putting in when were playing well then drip fed in and out, give them a bit take it away. they also want lookin after. when crowther came on at wigan and the forwards let him take the ball in off the tap said everything about our team. how was he gonna rufuse some of them should of said take the third one mate.
