Running onto thw ball at pace near the line. Had he have caught it dont think he would have been stopped so close to the line.

What really peed me off about that was LMS had moved forward a good metre right behind Child's back and we should've had a penalty.

I know it seems/sounds ridiculous, but I couldn't help but feel the same coming away from the game yesterday - There just seemed to be something missing yesterday.. They played a whole different game to what they have been doing this season. With all the talk of been better of finishing 4th than 3rd it was in the back of my mind, did they actually want to win it.

Those 3 points fifta straight out cost us (cas and warrington) would look good on the table right now.

We'd also look a lot worse without the other points we'd have no doubt lost if we didn't have him in the team.

Yes. Sunday was disappointing but;



We finished fifth in the regular rounds.



We've played some fantastic rugby at times.



The season isn't done yet.



Most of all we have progressed.

Again with the singling out a player in a team game - it's crackers and rarely justified. Certainly not in this instance - Fifita has added something to the side that we've been missing for ages - he's a talismanic, barnstorming front rower, who lifts the crowd and his team-mates - and I guarantee you that the opposition fear him; that's why when he is contained, it's because they assign 3 or 4 defenders to swarm him.



A ridiculous thing to say.

Is that the point he cost us against Cas when the ref incorrectly penalised him for a high tackle which wasn't a high tackle? - I'd blame the ref for that, not the player.

You have just witnessed one of our greatest seasons in a long time. We have played with a style seldom seen at Wakefield, when can you remember us having so much pace.

I think if we are being honest we have only had three poor performances Leeds away, Salford in the cup and St Helens.

I suppose the success magnifies the losses because I don't remember when going into a game against StHelens you turned up expecting to win.

Celebrate the season and enjoy the games to come because we are Wakefield and who knows what is around the corner.
