Totally agree with this, our Marketing is nonexistent and our media/social media content is dull and boring.

In a nutshell: not winning enough games. Nothing else can really compete with that single attraction.

It certainly can't, and I think the crowds in 2017 & 2018 during our best seasons during Carters reign reflected that. Sadly poor playing recruitment season after season since, has led to poor results and steadily decreasing attendances.



Shame we couldn't speculate to accumulate at the end of 2018, to try and at least maintain those standards we had then.



Any new incoming person at the top needs to market the club, on the pitch as well as off it, and not rely, and certainly not immediately rely on that "big thing" that MC pointed out behind him during Thursday nights pre match interview.

When he said that it made me think that he has the attitude of "build it and they will come", if that is the case then he is very much mistaken

Just been reading the remarks made by Phil Clarke on the serious about rugby league app. He thinks Wakefield are playing as well as they can and are not as bad as they are being painted he goes on to say if they had one player like Bevan French or even Tom Johnston they would have already won games and not be in the position they are. Food for thought. for the powers that be.

This is just not true, bar Salford away we have not been within touching distance of a team going into the final quarter of a game. Its not like we are just losing games by the odd score here and there, we are losing games comfortably and as good as Tom Johnson is I don't think he would have made much difference this season. Its not like we have been putti g wingers into scoring positions.
