why is everyone attacking george? hes had an off day today, everyone is allowed once in a while. is just me or did the jeffries/lee partnership look a lot more sharp then the other combinations we've had?

Coz he had a shocker, some have forgotten Johnsons HOWLERS over the past few game because he played well today. One game away from fortune and fame untill you have an off day, its the Wakey way.

Gleadhill should have come off the bench, he's chomping at the bit, why he played in the reserves is beyond me.

George wasn't great but he wasn't offered a great deal of help from those defending on his inside where he was often left 2 on 1. This meant that he was back peddling to catch kicks while Watkins was coming onto them at speed and there's a clear favourite in that kind of contest.

I agree and add the fact that Watkins has a few inches on George as well.

Once again loads of effort but very little quality near the oppositions line. We've now played 240 minutes at home and scored three tries. Thats not good enough and its not going to get Joe Public flooding through through the gates i'm afraid. It is imperative we find a good scrum half pretty damn quick. Another prop would be nice as well.



Defensively we were not too bad, though George had a mare. Bit concerned how we fell away at the end but we had been caned by the ref in the second half. I said it during the week and i'll say it again now, Kear got his bench wrong yet again. Why Gledhill wasn't there instead of Vievers i'll never know.

Yes but Johnson obviously has guts and attitude. Luke Goerge looks like a player affraid to get stuck in and not really wanting to be here. I can't remember the last time he had a good game

That's harsh - I agree he had an awful second half today, but I think he's started this season really well.



Have to agree about Gledhill - he walked past us at the end of the game with a face like a melted welly; he clearly wants game time, and I'm baffled as to why wasn't he on the bench today.

No problem with Johnson at all, just think Georges is the easy target for some, he may not be great but just check his finishing stats while he's been here.

I personally think that George is a good winger and he has had a good season so far and i actually though he had a very good 1st half today but then was poor in the 2nd but i challenge anybody to show me a player who doesn't have a bad game every now and then.
