Did Hull play at the same standard as Catalans or Warrington?

Why dont you tell us seeing as you believe you are the Oracle...

It's not a tricky question, but I guess you've figured out that by admitting that Hull didn't play as at the same standard as Catalans, that means that there might not have been the proclaimed improvement in Trinity's performance, but just that they appeared to play better because they faced a weaker opposition.

You could just as easily say our improved enthusiasm and defense caused Hull not to play as well.

As I’ve said in another post Hull FC haven’t been able to buy a win apart from the victory over the Giants Academy team. Against us they had as many youngsters in the team as us maybe more and they’re dealing with Covid disruption like everyone else. Add into the mix they’ve got an interim coach in charge having sacked Redford just prior to lockdown.

Yet we still lost!



I don’t want anything both ways, find me where I’ve said anything to suggest different!

Efforts one thing, improved performance is another. The very least we should expect is effort!

I don't know how much they paid for the win against Cas yesterday but I enjoyed it whatever the cost.

What the Chester outers on here have to understand regarding the Hull match, is outside your little bubbles Hull were expected to win the match...every bookmaker in the land had them down as strong favourites at prices varying from 2/5 to 1/3...



We were NOT favourites to win that match. If we had been expected by all the neutrals to win, like Hull were, then maybe there would be more justification in calling it a poor effort/result...

If only my opinion were solely based on the Hull match eh!

So it's not Chester's fault then but the bookies,If all the bookmakers in the land had Hull down as strong favourites at a price of 2/5 to1/3 well perhaps Chester ought to stop the players from looking at the bookies odds then, stop them getting inside they're heads
