Not sure if it's been mentioned previously, probably has somewhere, but I think Brian Smith deserves some credit for having the guts to drop Scruton & Kirmond, assuming they were left out and not injured. The pack is certainly better with Simon in it whatever position he plays. Also a mention for Lyne, I don't think anyone was slagged off more than him on here, and he's been excellent so far this season, hope he continues his good form. It will be interesting to see if he sticks with a winning side for the Warrington game, although Tupou will probably be doubtful I would think.

Bill Tupou you mean? I didn't see what happened to him.

He gave a lot of penalties away, so good as he is, we may not miss him so much. Not sure whether I'd play Gibson or Walton. Quite like Walton but he is a bit excitable too.

A big mention to Tom Johnstone as well, run it in well, try saving tackle and an Albert Goldthorpe point to go with it

And he did get dropped to what could be called the reserves where he got confidence back buy been on winning team, scoring tries and been able to play without no way near enough pressure and the much needed confidence showed yesterday good on smith for seeing that a run of bad games can dent a young ones confidence and doing the right thing to get it back as some on here said too

I don't think B S will have a problem leaving players out for a week or two.

Wrong,he had an injury, they wanted him to play few minutes for the reserves to asess his recovery but due to reasons ended up playing big minutes for the reserves and not risked for the first team.

So he played 80 mins with an injury for reserves ok that makes sense....nether the less playing for resevers did trick because v fev and cas for first team he was shocking v widnes not good played and scored 2 for reserves instead of been in well beaten side v cas comes back in and does really well v kr.



Thing is i like tom think he has great future ahead but we need to remember hes still very young and raw
