A Cas fan on the Salford forum reckons he's off to Leeds.

He was linked to them last year before we hooked him up with a deal, Aiton when asked always says he enjoys his footy at Belle Vue, I think he'll play out rest of his career here if he doesn't return to NRL.

I'd swap him for Sutcliffe and Watkins, and maybe some money

I guess that sooner or later, one of these players with value will have to be sold; given all that's happened this year, I think it's inevitable.



I'd rather it wasn't Aiton - in fact I'd rather it wasn't any of them, but since it's not my money on the line, I guess I'll have to live with it.

Of the players touted to be of interest to Salford, if correct, then I would rather keep hold of Kirmond, Smith and Amor (in that order). If our head is turned and we either have no choice to sell because we are skint or somebody makes a silly offer then personally I would look to cash in on Poor and/or Aiton leave before those 3.

Should have cashed in on cockayne earlier if the offer was reasonable.



Wouldn't sell any of our props as they have been the highlight of the year in the main.



Aiton I would sell if there was a good standard replacement lined up from somewhere.

Oh and I'm also Ok with Trinity selling off some assets to boost the bank balance somewhat. I'd rather they didn't have to, but no player is biggar than the club.

Was told at Wembley from someone close to club- yeah I know!!- that Wakey had agreed terms with KR, Ben could not.

The reality for Salford is that with the return of promotion and relegation, no side will be willing to sell what are considered to be key players unless the transfer fee is one which is far above the players value to the team.



Smith, Collis, Aiton, Kirmond will not be allowed to leave. It's more likely, Mellors, Washbrook, Wilkes and Lee Smith will be ones of interest to them. They'll pay over the odds for average to poor players because there is so little for clubs to battle over.
