At the pre-season meet the fans BJB said he came to Wakey because Brian Smith said he would play fullback.

This year, due to the distance involved and the usual disappointment and a busy work/life schedule, I decided to cherry-pick games, going to the potentially competitive ones and skipping the obvious drubbings.



So far I've skipped Huddersfield, Leeds and Wigan.

Today was possibly the best game I've watched us play at BV. All my other greatest games were played away from home. Maybe the myth of fortress BV is becoming a reality.



So long as the players don't fall in love with themselves and keep on working hard for each other we'll do OK this season.

I think the majority of us will wake and up and check the BBC results to ensure it wasn't just an amazing dream.

I said on here a few weeks ago I could see us soon getting a big victory against someone, because I thought we were so close to clicking. For the life of me I never thought that the team we would thrash would be Wigan! Wow! This brings so much joy after I still live the memories of that 72-6 thrashing we endured from them at Belle Vue in the 1980s.



I hope the club realise the opportunity and quickly put the DVD out for sale. I certainly want to be a buyer and yesterday was a match which is ingrained into my memory for evermore. Well done to all involved, keep it up boys!

Great team performance. Best ive seen Arundal play and i have given him some stick over the "baron months". Reece Lyne another to show some real class and another ive slated. Always been frustrated that we were underperforming with the playing squad we had and recent weeks they have proved me right, we have some cracking players and when they play like that they will beat anybody.
