Don't fully agree with you on this one, obviously there are exceptions but I was in business with my best friend for over a decade and sure there's ups and downs but as long as your both mature enough, intelligent and honest it can be a very healthy working environment. If anything you can be more honest with someone you know and talk a lot straighter.



At the end of the day as long as Agar is the best candidate out of those that have been interviewed, there's not a lot more any of us can say, they've obviously been through the correct process and by the sounds of it had guys in front of Agar, who have chosen to go else where.

Fair comments on both points - maybe it's time for a reality check for many people, myself included.

There are times when I see/hear fellow Hull fans do/say things that really make me grimace and hope nobody tars me with the same brush.



As for Agar, I'm another who thinks the change could do him good. I think he was promoted beyond his ability, but as said he did a good job of clearing out deadwood and his recruitment has included some very good signings for us. Also, this season we have started to play much better stuff. He does seem to have improved during his tenure, and may well do so in his next job wherever that may be. He should also have learned a lot from his time at Hull. I also genuinely believe that he does everything he can that he thinks is for the good of the club and works very hard.



The biggest problems I think he has are his interchanges, his reluctance to give youth a go, inability/refusal to change tactics mid-game, and persistent failure against the top teams. He needs to fix a couple of those in the near future to do a good job for you IMO. If money continues to be tight for you he'll probably be forced into promoting youth at least.



If he did come to you I reckon what he would do would be similar to what he did with us (at least initially); get you winning the games you 'should', but not producing any shocks. I wouldn't bank on any cup runs with him, though. I think he'd maybe get you back to the fringes of the playoffs, but then you might need someone else to kick on further, as we are trying to do.

Afraid that guy is a trench not a divot.



Agar will do OK at Wakefield. As another fan said a change will do him good. He got Hull to a CC final and has a very good knowledge of young talent in the British game. Hope he goes well for you.

I see Pearson is akin to a god on Humberside and the saviour of Hull FC, well he did a great job at City gone bust and relegated.

If your going to slag someone off (i.e. Pearson) then you need to get your facts right, Duffen and Bartlett owned City when they got relegated and on the verge of going bust, Adam Pearson was brought back into the club to sort out the debt problem and get new owners, both of which he has done.

Except for the failure against top teams and beating the ones we expect to. It's been more the other way around I reckon

agars card was marked from day one!.there has been a non stop agar out protest since he took the head coaches job.most of it unjustified in my opinion.he,s had alot to deal with at hull.injuries/disciplinary issues/moaning fans.and im sure he will come thru this a wiser /stronger/better coach if he does come your way i hope he,s treated with more respect than a lot of hull fans gave him...

Have a look at what he has done for Hull City in his 2 spells at the club and you'll understand why he's so highly regarded.
