Yes and it was the same Ganson who missed the blatant offside as a VR in the Hull/Hull KR derby last year, and now this incident at Wakefield. There was also another off-field incident last year which made the headlines for all the wrong reasons. It was always 'The Steve Ganson Show' when he was refereeing, and not much has changed. Collectively, the rest of the referees have not had as much bad publicity for themselves and the game as this guy has. He's an embarrassment to the game and we need to be rid asap.

There needs to be an official inquiry into this, and hopefully Tim Roby has the balls to tell the truth what was said to him, but I wont hold my breath.

Roby didn't have the balls to ignore Gansons orders, he just acted like his lap dog.

Watched from the 1873 Suite and no one could not believe it was called forward. Its things like this and Ganson's visit to have a chat with Roby without both Coaches present that makes fear for the integrity of the game.

Very much agree with this entire post. He was the very worst choice to be the refs controller, as he never understood that no one was interested in paying to watch him and that a good ref should not be noticed.

Just watched the interview, i don't know if agar does it in all interviews but it was very noticeable that he never looked into the camera. I know its not the same as looking some one in the eye but he was almost looking over his shoulder for half the interview and down at the desk for some of it.
