| Good signing for Newcastle, good move for Kershaw, he's show he can cut it at SL level, a slight step back to iron out a few errors in his game and he'll be back in the top flight in no time.

Not surprised given that we signed Tom lineham to cover right wing I imagine'"
Is this from the same source as your Milner to Hull KR one?

| Adam Milner signing was all over. We had offered him a big pay deal to then find out how much cas was offering and we back tracked on the offer. Hull kr offered a bigger deal that was supposed to be it. Hope that explains, my information was from a cas

| I remain to be convinced that this is true yet...
But he did turn down a 2 year deal last year to only sign for 1 year ending now. So it is possible.

| I’ll be very disappointed if this is true. He’s not the the finished product by any means but i reckon Lee has a bright future, i’d like to think it would be with us.

| If true I've got mixed feelings.Thought he'd come on a ton this year, cut out nearly all the errors, usually taking three men to stop his drives, that wonder try against Wire, and then just watched the Cas game on Trin TV and he had a right old stinker.I suppose his chances would be limited with the new winger coming in so he's probably done the right thing.I do like the lad though and wish him well.

| Kershaw is one of our most exciting and quickest players going forwards.
A few too many mistakes in defence but, this is something that you would expect to improve pretty quickly.
I actually think he is one of the few X factor players in our squad. Great step and pace to burn. Shame if he leaves.

| Loads of effort and good with an interception but doesn't take many half chances nearer the line. Has improved taking the high ball but his performance at Cas shows how costly his continuing schoolboy errors can be.
Not fussed either way but I doubt he's going to get a contract extension for next year anyway with Lineham confirmed and Kay and Murphy around.

| What I have seen this season is a big improvement, His pace was good against Warrington and its one of the few times he has been able to stretch his legs.
I am not convinced he is a first choice winger as yet, I like him but I think he is in the class at the moment of too good for Championship but not quite the baseline quality required for SL to improve us. If he is going good luck to the lad hes not let anyone down if he stays lets hope he improves that little bit to improve us and make the side more competitive.

| With a limited budget at the club and plenty of cover for the wing position, I think its probably the right decision to let him go and develop his game in the championship, he has come on leaps and bounds over the last couple of years and runs his blood to water for the team.
It`s a shame as if it was 10 years ago he would probably have been one of our prize assets but that's testament to how well our youth development is going.

More faces than the town hall clock, you just change to suit your agenda at times.
It is sad to see him go but there is a genuine challenger in the academy and young Ollie can cover.
It's all about money and the quality it buys you.

Generally agree with you and if it were down to me I'd keep it. However, despite a huge improvement you've got to question how much development was left, he is the kind of player who in my experience will lose his pace quite quickly as he gets older, he's not a natural sprinter in the way TJ is. Also, IMHO Kershaw would not get in most SL teams, and if you're building a team that's what you are looking at. I get the idea that whoever the coach was Kershaw would always be considered cover and maybe he doesn't want that.
The only thing that surprises me is that he hasn't gone more local, so Gateshead must be offering him a good deal, possibly better than we could.
