Quite a few people on here, myself included, said that Tim Smith would be all at sea playing alongside Chase - and so it proved.



I'm not sure how we'll look with a sudden surfeit of hb's, but from a business perspective, it doesn't get much better; flog him for 90k, then get him back for the relegation battle at a fraction of the salary. Inspired!

Wasn't that me at Sandal last night.

Would have thought all the paperwork for Smith, if anything was complicated, would have been done in the last fortnight.

Would expect him to go straight into the starting line up.

Can't understand people not wanting him back.

He played his best rugby for ages at Wake and off the back of that, got a really good move for himself.

Unfortunately, that has not worked out for him.

We have moaned about players coming into the team that don't look interested.

Smith obviously, when it was presented to him or we made enquiries, was happy to come back to us.

This shows he wants to play for the club and it's about getting back to enjoying his rugby in an environment that is familiar to him.

Doubt it, seems they don't rate him at Salford and they will not see him as a threat

there's nothing wrong with returning to a past employment I'm going back next week for a third stint at one of mine, I only look at work professionally and apply my skills as and where clients want me to perform, if they choose to to release me I go with knowledge that if they need my services again they will contact me as this case.

not a problem with Tim searching for that bit extra in his pocket on this occasion its hasn't paid off but he did leave a lasting imprint that if he can recover that again than all good for both parties

Good creative player and hopefully he and Sykes can turn back the clock and re-produce their form at the end of 2012 season!





As others have said think Godinet would be a great impact player from bench going at dummy half when defences are getting tired but Siejka must surely see the writing on the wall....

I have missed a few games for various reasons, one being apathy but I was determined to be there Friday night.



Now I will go with a smile on my face.
