Of course he could also have lost the test matches! How many times have you seen Headingley even near full except maybe a Test match and an occasion limited overs game? Yorkshire were not too keen on his latest rent proposals either!

Well it would be had he ever said that, WMDC never promised that stadium you refer too that was the then owner of BV, WMDC never promised any funding I’m afraid. So MC may have said that’s what he wanted but he never said WMDC were supplying it or certainly I don’t remember Box saying they would.

MC is on record recently as saying the pitch is not moving or being made 4G.



He did suggest it will become hybrid i.e. it has all weather elements woven in to toughen it up, as it will need to be used for more than just the RL.
