It's a poor show when we're struggling to get 1000 Wakefield fans to sign an e - petition which could help secure the future of this club. I guess it emphasises the apathetic nature of the support and public of the city and shows the task in hand Carter has is building this club to be anything other than perennial strugglers.

Actually, we are quite pleased with the outcome, considering it is close season and, until this week, it had been very quiet at the club.



Keep em coming, we'd love to reach 1,000 if we can, but I suspect most folk on here have done so already!

How many followers does the club have on twitter? Facebook?

14,954 on Twitter but some of those probs don't use Twitter anymore, I have followers that haven't tweeted for a year or more

Have the club tweeted for people to sign it?

I'd be surprised if they haven't and if they haven't someone on twitter should give them a gentle nudge.

I don't think the Wakefield public are apathetic to Trinity considering that we've had to put up with for the last 40 years, no other SL club has had the constant let downs we've had to put up with so don't think our support is bad considering. One thing we do have what a lot don't is potential a City full of sports/RL fans, say if we'd have the success Saint Helens have had over the years we wouldn't be talking about a apathetic Wakefield public.
