See Cas are splashing the cash again.

With the Fifita signing dead in the water it will be interesting to see who we can bring in. Obviously as stated before we will really struggle to attract players for next year due to our poor position at the minute and with it been up in the air who will be coaching us.

Just read Hull Live which stated several NRL players been offered to SL including 6 foot 3 17 stone prop Kaide Ellis who is ex Penrith and with Dragons until the end of the season….wonder if he’s being considered by Trinity?

Well we have the space and I assume some cash so I suppose we could sign them now if we wanted. It’s probably our only advantage.



Or we could wait and see if the WC throws up a gem.

Cas have confirmed that Holmes and Mata’utia have both opted not to renew their contracts.



I’d imagine Holmes to Warrington and Mata’utia to link up with his brother at Saints but would take either of them!

Think I read Lewis Bienek is OOC, burst onto the scene a few years back and looked a real propect but opportunities at Hull and Cas this year seem to have been limited.

No chance Mata’utia ends up at Saints, unless they are after a new water boy, he just isn`t the calibre of player they go for, unless they are desperate which I don`t think they are.

You never know. Heard that Naiqama maybe leaving at the end of this season, and I don’t think anyone expected LMS to end up there either.

No but LMS came as a project.

Replacing the starting centre at Saints is never a project.



They'll either promote a rising star from within or go big from Oz.
