For the top 4?



Based on what we've seen so far I think Wigan and Warrington will be the run away top 2, but I don't think Huddersfield are all that special, and St Helens are beatable aswell. So with Leeds the only team who look capable of overtaking us, do people think this side is good enough for a top 4 finish?

No not quite.

If we start to play well consistently and build our attack to be as good as our defence i think we could be top 4. Agree about Wigan and Warrington running away though. Leeds when they get bodies back could be 3rd with us 4th.

A few twist and turns yet I reckon for all contenders.



One thing we do need is some sort of settled backline though!

Not at the moment no, think 5th is the best we could hope for. Leeds, Saints, Huddersfield, Wire and Wigan are ahead of us at the moment.

Not without cover for the backs, no.

Recruited a great pack but relying too much on youth to cover the backs. We could do with Todd Byrne.

We're good enough but not yet consistent enough. Big plus for me so far is our obvious improvement in attitude - if that stays we have a chance

No wink necessary - we could. Agar was right all along...

Wigan and wire will be top 2 IMO



Leeds could and probably will come good, I just hope it starts in 2 weeks, saints, hudds and us to fill the rest of the top 6 I just dont know in what order.

Good old Todd Byrne! I would like to see a few players be given a position and stick with it for a while to let them settle into the role. At the moment players are chopping and changing all the time which must be difficult for continuity. I realise injuries will dictate this but we could commit certain players to one position.

I was looking at our fixtures and if just manage to win the games we are expected to win without causing any upsets we will be looking at about 34 points. Rovers made 4th with 35 last year, so with a more competetive league 34 could well get you there.

Should all be bankers as long as we turn up with the right attitude. We've then got Rovers at home which we should win, we should also win at least one of Wakey or Bradford away (if not both) and then it would be a big bonus to beat one of the big boys (Saints, Leeds, Wigan) at home and Leeds or Hudds away.



It's certainly not out of the question imo. A win on Sunday would be a huge boost.
