with tickle expected to return home at the end of this season, and the forwards lacking a bit of aggression and go forward it seems atm would you go for a swap with hock or do you think he's would not be worth the risk with his background .And of course it would depend on the possibilities of wigan wanting tickle

Hock has three and a half years remaining on his contract at Wigan. He's thirty this year.

Wigan and Lenegan stood by Hock during his ban and were shaken by his request/demand to leave.

Rumours around Wigan that Widnes have an option for a second season.

Would Wigan want Tickle back? Not too sure about that.

Even if we wanted Hock, how would we go about making a swap deal for a player who will no longer be under contract with us and free to go wherever he likes without us having any say in the matter whatsoever?

i got slaughterd for saying id have hock over tickle.....other than a great kicker, tickle isnt as good as hock IMO

He did more than enough in his Wigan shirt last season to show he's a better player than Tickle. Whilst I rate Tickle highly, he's not quite in Hock's league.

Why would he get homesick? He's 30, unlikely (in this hypothetical situation) to get more than a 3/4-year deal at his age in what'll be his last big contract - why wouldn't he see it out? Tickle has been at Hull for what, 6 years now? Turner saw out his contract.
