If a league split comes in, I may very well be done with RL.

unless the championship is full time they wont be close games against the 4 SL teams who don't make the 8

Would love to see AP try and shift 10k season tickets for games against Batley, Fev, Eagles etc...

same here, and the subsequent reduction in season pass sales will kill the sport off.



Imagine we finish 9th in the regular table and end up playing Dewsbury, Workington etc with all tickets pay on the day...the crowd would be dire, and I wouldn't even know where the begin explaining what the fixture was about to a non-RL fan.

Bloke from the RFL - rimmer? - said on boots n all last week that the split scheme was gaining popularity. I can see why. Top 6 or so clubs are pretty safe and bottom 4 have no chance so it only leaves the other 4 clubs who lie in the uncertain pool. Stupid idea IMO but clubs will vote for their own self interests

I seriously hope it stays as two leagues of 12. The 3-split-e sounds truly awful and embarrassing.

I really do get more and more 'meh' with RL with each passing year.
