Derby switched at Easter to be confimed

just been told this, so how will this work? will we get the east/south stand?

i would of thought it would be under our terms or they can just do one for me.

What criteria would be sufficiently good enough for us to say 'yes'?

let them keep north and give them upper west, more than enough seats to cover their season ticket holders, everybody happy, nobody can complain about losing their seats

How could we set any criteria ? They will be renting from the SMC and we will be the away team.



Look at it as a chance to see what the North end is like

They need our permission to use the stadium, and our cooperation with the RFL to have the fixture moved.

This could get quite messy if not thought out properly. I've got no problem with Rovers handing us home advantage,cap in hand to your bigger neighbours and the council again,lol

But to counter that arguement why should the 'away' team dictate where their fans sit and the 'home' fans get what is left?

It should be the biggest away following in Super League history.

Getting the North and the upper west is hardly being given whats left. There is no difference between the North and South so why change that? Upper West is arguably a better view than the East stand. It would be petty to demand the stands be reversed and will probably just lose Rovers money,so Hudgell on previous will probably go for that option

And if someone is an East/West stander and is a sufferer of acrophobia they should just suck it up I guess.

Is that the only counter arguement you can come up with? says it all really.

Is it not a valid arguement then?

Plus what is the capacity of the West upper, Is it smaller than both the east and west combined if so then some folks who have paid for a side will end up with an end.
