With us looking poised to finally secure the signatures of a "proper number 7" & McDonnell as our fullback then we will surely be left with two of the highest paid players unlikely to make the starting 17 of their team in SL??



Seymour & Horne will be taking up a large wedge of the cap & it appears very unlikely either will deliver value for money.



Are there any other teams in SL who will have two players on such wages sitting in the stands not through injury?



Are these new signings going to mean Seymour will be offloaded? We surely can't fit Prince & McDonnell in and still accommodate Seymour & Horne. If somehow we can then we should be able to improve the squad massively again once Horne & Seymour eventually move on.

A chunk of Hornes salary is expect from the Cap due to him being here 10 years IIRC, (obviously needs paying, but doesnrt count towards the 1.6 limit). Although thats probably shared with Yeman aswell now.

It's great to see the squad shaping up well. Without Horne & Seymour on the books we could add the extra rough @rse prop I'd like to see then I think we'd have a team to many any.
