We need to get him in. He is the one man available who can sort us out (I assume Craig Bellamy and Wayne Bennett are not available).



Some people here like to scoff but he has a clear record of turning places around. There will be no messing. He has taken three teams to Grand finals from worse positions than us. ok he didn't win but look at the personnel in the teams they played against.

I'm in no way a fan of sacking the coach, and I've previously been in favour of giving Gentle at least a few games next season, but this performance indicates that something is seriously wrong behind the scenes.

As a club we have done OK with unfashionable coaches yet always want a name.



Smith first time round was no big name, Royce Simmons, Sigsworth, Noel Cleal & John Kear. It's not down to experience or the name or the money you pay them it's about the mentality of the club at the time. An underdog coach will prosper at our club. Leave all the we're gonna do this and that behind, pull your finger out & play with some pride. Hard to admit but Hull KR have done this for the past 5/6 years very well without the high expectations

I disagree, a good coach can sort a place out quickly and make the best of the players he inherits. Smith took over the Roosters after they finished as a shambolic last, and next year they went to the grand final. that was 2011, not 1991!
