Wonder if this puts an end to us wanting another outside back? Talanoa, Lineham & Lancaster is a hell of a lot better then Crookes & Colbon.

Seems a sensible decision if true, i'm still on the fence whether he is good enough...but at the same time he has had to play in a disrupted backline that gets very poor service.

Gives his all but not a natural winger. Too slow and positional sense not there.

Agree. He always coming too far inside leaving an overlap on his side, never sticks with his opposition winger. A long miss pass or kick through and he gets exposed. He also does it in attack so the long cut out pass to him isnt an option. Works hard from dummy half tho but id like to see him in the centres.

One of our best the other night. Makes tremendous yards n personally although agree with some of the pounts made about him.

For the money he'll of been on this yr hes been a revelation. Seen far more of crookes n colbon than id of liked anyway so without tala we'd of really struggled.

I'm happy with that, but I'd use him in centres/second row. Shown some nice touches in attack. Yeamans replacement.

Depending on how Lancaster goes for the rest of the season and pre season I would be tempted to give him the 2 shirt and use Talanoa either as utility back cover, or further in field. I don't know if his defence is good enough to play in the back row, but he would cause problems in attack with his strength and footwork.
