The confusing bit is,'its taking too long'. surely the lawyers would know the waiting time for a visa decision,and advise the club before making the application.UKBA have set waiting times ie 6 months that they must examine your application,E.g. If lawyers say 3 months in the current climate,we should see it through.

Also, when awaiting a decision from UKBA, you cannot enquire, there are no indicators from UKBA to state current state of play.,until they send a letter to deny or accept.

Basically... application is made,then its in a queue, then wait. (if its taking a long time to get a decision,doesnt mean things are going badly)

Dobbo would be an awesome signing rather have him then Chase...Dobson is a true professional and wold get my vote out of the two although wouldnt say no to chase lol
