I often think that some people on this forum watch a game with their agenda already set. They have certain players who they do not like for some reason and, irrespective of the player's performance, will find something negative to say about them. All players have good days and bad days (its a human being sort of thing), none of them deliberately go onto the field to play badly. Its time people backed off and encouraged, rather than criticised our team. We're one game into the season and we all know that there is a long way to go and that our team will improve, starting on Friday.

I admit that I don't like Seymour and I don't think that he's the half-back to take us forward. But I did admit that he should have started on Friday night. He played well in the friendlies and justified his selection. But he was poor against Leeds.

On that basis then, you don't like any of them because with possibly a couple of exceptions they were all poor.

That doesn't compute. I don't like Seymour but if he has a good game then I will say. How did you think he played Friday night?

I actually think he didn't do too badly. Our pack was apalling and offered no opportunities to the half backs. Consequently they were spending most of their time defending and Seymour was up there with the best of them in that department.

Fair enough that's your opinion. Mine differs. But as you say we need to get behind the boys on Friday night. We've got to get on the board before we travel to Saints I feel.

I am neither a Seymour or Holdsworth fan, but they both did a stack of tackling (compared to what should be expected)behind a beaten pack.

they didnt want to train on the pitch it was just for Holdsworth to practice some goal kickin and kick offs just for 15mins

We have previously been able to carry out short periods of kicking practice though.

if that's no longer the case then things have changed, be interesting to know if it's Allam that has ultimately stopped us, an appeal to the actual OWNERS of the facility should be AP's next step if that's the case. I have tenants call me and say "the agency said I can't do x but I'd really like to, can I have your permission"
