| Can I just ask, if Shaun McRae had been appointed before tonights game, or Jason Taylor, or Stphen Keirney (sp) would this be classed as a gutsy win?
Yes it was two poor sides but I thought there were a few positives and a couple of negatives.
You have not got a recognised leader at half back.
You have not got your World Class first choice hooker playing.
You were missing your best full back.
You had a GB Winger missing.
Yes I accept that the first one at least is the fault of the people currently in charge but come on, a win is a win and I cannot help thinking if it had been a new 'big name' coach in charge people would be thinking it a bit more positive.

There were some positives, though. Calderwood had another good game, and I reckon he and Whiting can form a decent partnership on that side. Tommy Lee did well and Horne looked much safer at full back than we've been used to in recent weeks.'" Horne would never of run that line whiting did for his try.

I think he is in charge, does anyone remember the rugby we were playing under agar a few years back before sharp came, now if someone tells me tht wasnt agar then, who on earth was it?
Mayb we should let agar do the job by himself and see what our style of rugby wud b then?

Yup. Salfords line speed in defence was far better than ours, god knows how we won the game really. Probably their mistakes and penalties, as has been said any other team in the league would have probably beaten us.
