Quote Hull Kingston ConvictsFollowing the governments 2.5% reduction in VAT from Monday the 1st of December Hull FC has decided that it will pass on the reduction to our fans by reducing the price of season passes and replica shirts.
New prices will be calculated and published on our website on Monday. The club wish to state that this is a change in government legislation that Hull FC have not had any prior notice of. '" |

Ah yes we had the "gate prices frozen for 2009" spin comming out the club, when in fact the gate price should have gone down 50p (City did this)
Anyone remember the refund offered by the club on passes? was it £2 or something? |

What part of the above statement I posted did you miss??
The club passed on the VAT saving to anyone purchasing their season passes after December 1st 2008. As I said in my earlier post I'm not 100% that the club offered the £2ish refund on passes already bought but if they didn't then it's hardly the crime of the century. I don't remember any other companies offering VAT refunds on items purchased before 1st December so why should FC? |
