He did the job of fullback well, no mistakes, solid. He did play well yes, but only what you'd expect of any fullback. To say he played well shows that we have been expecting him to play poorly which he didn't.

I think you need to lay off the cider. He had a decent game by his own standards, but he's nowhere near as good as Tansey. I've yet to be convinced that Tansey is a fullback, but he's a better one than Hall will ever be. I was truly shocked at how little Wire tested him. I don't think he had to take one high ball under pressure.

Did you not see him throw the ball forward towards the end?

The thing is Hall looks great with ball in hand but he still makes too many errors.

Did well tonight. First game back and out of position and just the one error. Not tested under the high ball but that's not his fault. He can be very pleased with his work tonight.

Your post got the response it deserved. I don't need to back it up, but if you have a copy of last years KC derby it will speak for me.

That's the long and the short of it. Even those who don't rate Hall think he is often dangerous in attack.

I thought he had a decent game tonight, he has had a loss of confidence of late and I do not think he has always had a fair rub of the green.



He is going, but he is not heading East as many believe
