I think that occasionally they also show up that sometimes people just can't bring themselves to give certain players credit when it's deserved. I honestly don't know how anyone can leave Horne out of a top 3 today, no matter how disappointing he's been in recent years. |

Not at all I'm a big fan of Horne but he fell off quite a few tackles today. He did some good things as well but just wasn't in my top 3. How anyone can not have Tickle and Houghton as 1 and 2 today amazes me. |

I didn't think he fell off many TBH, and he produced several of the best one-on-ones of the game, including the outright try-saver. Tickle helped cost us a try we should never have gifted them, that's why he was 3rd on mine. I know the pass wasn't great but the lazy arm he waved at it was not good enough IMO. Houghton gave everything, but the expected fall off in quality kicked in so that Horne overtook him in the 2nd half.
I'm not saying he was way ahead of everyone else, but I really didn't see 3 better players for us than him today. |
