Huddersfield were the best bet of the round (easy to say retrospectively), widnes were beaten at home by 20ish at home to Wakey. Not sure why the bookies priced that up as only -22 on the h/cap.
I think if you follow Wire every week to cover the handicap, you'll not go far wrong. When they are anywhere near their best, they'll always rack up points and i see no reason to deviate from that bet this year. I would also say that this widnes side is the worse side to ever be promoted from the championship and so would go against them very week.

I know, that's why I state backing them every week, you will make a profit over the season.
I wouldnt back them to cover against us, it wouldn't be right!
I wouldnt generally have had a bet on the first week of the season anyway, too many unknowns.

Just a quick note as i know alot wouldnt like to bet in favour of Rovers but im all for making a quick buck from bookies-
Rhys lovegrove 1st try - with our injuries hes been defending in the middle and attacking on the wing these last 2 weeks.
40/1 & 33/1 not bad odds for a winger! even a cheeky quid! |

I also think a good bet is Manly to beat Leeds on friday, Manly -4 Evens  Ill be chucking a tenner on that i think. |
