I have no concerns with the pitch. That will recover quickly with some TLC from ground staff. It's the club owner that I will watch with interest. I'm sure now City are back in the premiership the ownership of the KC will soon raise its ugly head.

I never said that. Allam, I'm sure will assume that city deserve the KC to be their own now they're playing with the big boys. £120 million from promotion may give him some ideas. He may insist that if the council will not sell the KC he may threaten to build his own. |

he's tried that before, and failed.
a new stadium would cost in excess of £50m, and that is IF he could get plannning, would also take 18 months of planning and consultation before the diggers could even come in. Bear in mind the land he proposes to use isn't his, and i earmarked for housing, a way higher yiel than £50m for a 6 acre site.
He's a dreamer and a chancer. |

They will be down before he even gets planning permission.This arguement will keep coming up if city are up or arent. |

As I say, he's already made demands, and they have fallen on deaf ears, he doesn't have the money to do what he promised at the KC, he doesn't have the money to build anywhere else. He doesn't have the money to build a Premiership squad, look at Arsenal, wading in cash and won nothing for years, even Chelski, with RA Billions behind them, struggle to win anything other than the Europa.
City fans are deluded, but we saw that from the TV pictures yesterday. |
