At least we gave it a dig but we are rubbish with ball in hand. I'm sure our attack will be much better with some new forwards and outside backs.
Sneyd has been garbage for weeks and Kelly needs a big pre season and to shed some serious weight

He's had an excellent second half of the season IMO. Looking forward to seeing him and Fonua back together. |

Much improved effort but the lack of skill is easy to see and Saints would have upped their game if it meant something to them.
Still could have been worse, the fans would have been in meltdown with another poor effort. But there is a lot to put right this Winter and new signings won't fix everything.

The big boppers coming in next season should give is some go forward next season but we really need some creativity into this team.
Tonight had everything that is poor at the club.Handling errors,poor passing,indiscipline giving away stupid penalties,poor last kick options and clueless in the opposition 20.
For me the only bright light is that Radford pulled Houghton off in the first half and hopefully realises his distribution and speed of pass at dummy half is too slow.A bit late but maybe now he has backing of Pearson he has the confidence to start dropping some of the non performing senior players.
Lets hope this lad from Widnes gets a chance.

I was happy with the commitment effort and determination of our side tonight, the supporters were superb at the end, the Prescott factor, the leaving players, it was a pleasure to be part of it.
A sub standard referee didn’t help, but we kept going, showing qualities which have been absent in the last two games, a magnificent send off for Mini Sika Washy Westy Mickey P an emotional night at the KC, and considering our failings of late, a magnificent crowd who mainly stayed till the end. We have our faults, but we are one of the best supported clubs, it’s in our blood, we go again.

Never thought we'd win but I like backing us when were underdogs.
I'd hate us to win one and not be on. 
Had a fairly unsuccessful gambling season as far aswere concerned to be fair.
Highlight was 500 on us in the Wires semi the decided to stick another 300 on us at half-time when we were only a couple of points down..........Fail!
I'm sure I'll recoup all my losses next season........not! |
