I've never understood this obsession with Swain being a coach. Good player as he was, he's;
1) Left the game as afar as I know.
2) IIRC he also said he had no interest is coaching or anything else to do with the game post retirement from playing.
3) (and this is the big one) has no experience in coaching. so for all the people bitching about how we've appointed an inexperienced coach, just what do they think Swain is? Just because he was a good player won't make him a wonder-coach.

I agree, Neil. IIRC Swain is working in a management role in the mining business. He wanted to leave te sport and had no interest in coaching. |

That's what Ive just pointed out on another thread about yet another poster going on that we need to sign Kearney as coach! |
