The thing is Paul,as much as I rate Longy you just have a niggling fear he is going to get injured when he takes to the pitch.I cannot state how hughely disappointed I am it has not worked out for him.I was well happy when he signed for us. |

No mate I am not stupid...The only stupid people here are the one's who signed a has been h/back for 2 years!!
Of course he does not plan the injuries, however any-one who is not STUPID understands old has been's are very prone to injuries!

Freak injuries on played on too long and his body his could no longer take it?

They had the luxury of 2 or 3 decent youngsters coming through which we hadn't. That's the real area where we should be criticised IMO - not the fact we signed Long (when just about every fan was rightly crying out for a scrum half and there wasn't really anyone else available) but the fact that we cant supply an Eastmond/Lomax/Gaskell from within our own systems. |

I'd buy Ellis out of his contract get him here early, what bad can it do just to let him play the season out. Will probably help us better in the long run then getting in another stop gap. |

If you think dislocated elbows and broken thumbs are a sign of being injury prone then your comprehension of the term is fundamentally impaired.
