For the umpteenth time, the visa rules changed between when we tried for chase and when Salford did. Think his personal circumstances changed as well. Sure, we could have played the last 2 seasons with no halfback and waited to see if we could eventually get Chase but that would have been a huge gamble.



Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

He's just discredited every post hes ever made and will ever make in his existence

It's a genuine question, he forgets everything, In a few days he'll be asking the same questions again.



And i'm well aware of the effects of Alzheimer's.

Six months? We gave up trying to sign Chase in October 2012. Do you own a calendar?

Ok so maybe not 6. Thats when we gave up, its widely regarded Chase signed for Salford mid 2013, (June/July)



I have my Hull FC calendar, which states on Junes page, that Lynch is here till the end of 14. On October it says Joe Westerman was at his best last year, and will pick up in 13 where he left off, he is equally at home in the middle or the flank and has natural handling skills and intelligent running lines. So theres no help there

Chase refused to apply for a new visa, There was also the legal battle going on between two agents about which actually represented him and also Cas kept changing the fee they wanted.



Under the above circumstances I don't blame the club from walking away.



I also personally don't think Chase is the type of halfback we need he doesn't know what he's going to do from one minute to the next let alone lead a team around the pitch. he's a great individual player who can change a game but the fact his team mates don't know what he's going to do is hardly the structure we need.
