| Quote tommyfromhull="tommyfromhull"Ogre is average? Wovers fans telling us what's good for us? JTP being a pessimist?
Only on RLFans
I actually think that we will replace Moa/Ogre with an overeas prop, we will have 2 quota spots free if one of them goes and I can't see us using it anywhere else, unless; a)Arundel rumour doesn't materialise b)McKinnon/Heremaia/Seymour head back home/are released or c)We replace Horney.'"

| Quote Jake the Peg="Jake the Peg"It's a realistic view. If we are to replace either a former SOO and australian international or our best impact prop with someone who is relatively inexperienced and who has primarilly been seen as a back rower then it will inevitibly weaken us. It's only good succession planning if he turns out to be of decent quality. If he doesn't then it's poor succession planning.
As you say, he could be the next gareth carvell, but then again, [urichard agar could have been the next wayne bennett'" [/u
No, he's more likely to have been the next Lennie Bennett.

| Was talking to Pittsy on Sunday and he is well chuffed to have signed for us. The lad is really buzzing and looking forward to getting some game time.
He reckons Peter Gentle has got something good going and is VERY impressed by the whole team ethic and the morale in the club. He was looking forward to starting training on Monday and I wasted no time in telling him that supporters would crawl over broken galss for a derby win - he laughed and said that's what he expected and would be going for it.

He's never played prop at Leeds - [size=150Who? Pitts or the other pleases mentioned[/size
No he hasn't[size=150Its quoted that he has made 41 appearances. 3 years of 27 rounds of SL is 81 games. 41is > half od 81, admittedly he did spend some time on loan at another SL club [/size'"

Four and a half, actually.
I agree with you though, a win over Leeds would be better than a derby win. I don't care about "bragging rights".

I WILL speak for myself then. Leeds aren't our deadly rivals and anyone who would rather beat them than the east hull filth needs a brain test !!

Anyone who is more bothered about beating a team who are going nowhere than the current SL and world champs is brain dead so there's no point in testing them
