I mean Horne and Shaul

I personally think horne is better then miller defensively, & shannon is a bit windy although he joins the line a bit better in attack i dont see him as supportive or as fast as shaul, radders wont have a place for poor defenders or windy players, what coach would?

If we're picking our halfbacks on defensive capabilities then we might as well give up.



Judging by Radfords attempt to sign Luke Gale earlier in the year doesn't give me any confidence he'll be able to recruit well enough in that area too.

We are not there on the training ground so we dont know exactly how he picks the team, but any bad defender is targeted by the opposing team, look at kr with welham, the good players are recruited well in advance he just tried to get gale as bradford were losing players & tried to tempt him away as we need a ball player who can defend.

You can't compare the defensive duties of a HB with that of a centre. You're supposed to protect your halfbacks and our defensive record was pretty good last year when Miller was in the team.

Either Radford has his favourites or there's cap implications. Given there's a similar situation with Pitts I'll go for the former.

Of course you can, if you cant tackle your no good on a rugby pitch, if he goes between the wing & centre to defend he will be targeted you do protect them but you cant tackle for him youve just got a crush on miller.. the sooner you get over him the better, pitts is a squad player & should be in when the troops are down but again he picks the team on how they do all week, i know for sure 100% radders picks the team on what he sees fit not favourites, he wont pick anyone who will let the side down and jeopardize his own job. fact!

Just not the right week to bring miller in let's get all our props fit we will get injuries to our halfbacks down the line. iam sure his time will come but in all honestly I didn't see much from him last season that would greatly improve us at the moment. Massive game for us on Sunday if we lose 4 points from 12 is gunna put pressure on all the squad and staff

He isn't going to start changing the HB's when we're down to the bare bones in the front row.

We'll be struggling in the middle, and adding in the Crooks factor, the fewer unforced changes the better.



I still think Miller is on his way (so won't be played), along with McDonnell. It's nothing to do with "favourites".

How ironic that Radford is accused of picking favourites simply because he isn't selecting someone else's.

Perhaps (just perhaps) Radford doesn’t want to risk it with Miller, behind a much weaker pack.
