Cannot remember seeing a worse referring display than that second half (seem to remember it being Smith). I try hard to be impartial when judging referees (I don't always succeed) but he did everythig except score for Wigan. Must admit I was amazed when Eastwood missed the kick though - straight in front of the posts although from a long-ish way out.

1991 Premiership final - Had to watch this from home as I'd only been following Hull since '89 and had a very young family and no money! Both elated and gutted when they won. Wish I coild have been there!



[iThat[/i midweek rearranged game against Widnes in blizzard conditions when Dez Haslar and Richard Gay had to come off because of the cold. Can't remember the year. early nineties I think. I've never been so cold in my life but was absolutely bouncing when we won!



Beating Wire at home 3-2. Greg Mackey with a penalty and a drop goal IIRC. Low score but a right nerve jangling dingdong of a game!



Worst (not including losing at Wembley to Rovers. My first ever game at 11year old. I didn't go again until '89 as my parents took me to Wembley but didn't go to any regular games).



Cup Semi at Huddersfield - An utter disgrace! Never been so ashamed in my life.



71-0 against Bradford. Talk about taking your foot off the gas. The perfect example of the difference between a top side and the rest! The cup was in the bag so they all switched off and let the fans down!



Getting stuffed by Rovers at home.

I know my memories not what it should be but I could have sworn it was a saturday at wilderspool. then again I was pi$$ed alot back then what with no kids and wife in tow.

Meetings at charlston club in the Lloyd era but i do remember one funny moment at a meeting.Seeing a chair with a tennis racket and ball on it,because we all knew Lloyd would not turn up.



The death of Clive Sullivan.

Didn't travel away in those days so I'm almost certain it was the Boulevard. But I can't be 100% now you've mentioned it.

It was at wilderspool...I was there.I remember it well.It was on a saturday and was live on tv.Well Granada Lancashire area anyway.

Phew, dementia's not got to me quite yet then. Worst thing is now I think about it it was my turn to drive so I can't hide behind the booze.

Best:

1: Challenge Cup Semi Final - Battered Saints, just the fact that i was going to watch the boys walk out in a final for the first time.

2: 2005, Challenge cup final. - As soon as we went behind in the 70 minute i thought the game had gone. But we dug deep and Celebrating was amasing.

3: Wigan 18-20 Hull I think it was april 2003. We hadn't won there for 10 years and it was a friday night. Horne steped in the final minutes to score beside the posts. Did the double over them that year.



Worst:

1: Grand Final 2006. Thought we was going to be champions. Great year though.

2: Challenge Cup Final 2008. Thought we could finally lay the wembley hoodoo to rest.

3: Getting beat by leeds final game of the year, to miss out on the play-offs. Deano's last game.
