We either up the amount of internationals or we let a coach have 2 jobs.

Straight after an embarrassing performance and defeat against Italy and less than a week before the biggest tournament in the RL world a number of players decide it would be a good idea to go on the lash and ignore instruction to stay off the booze (should they need telling this before a World Cup?).



Attitude clearly stinks and will result in the usual limp exit of the World Cup once a decent side is in opposition.

Not buying this, if McNamara commanded respect these incidents wouldn't happen, players obviously had their head up their s when you consider we lost to Italy! It's SM job to get these players in the right frame of mind, even on a bad day we should put 50 on Italy.

Disagree. This is top level professional sport, players should have enough personal pride to want to perform on the biggest stage.



Club level you may have a point but this is elite level. Whoever thought ignoring a drink ban days before you play the best rugby team in the world is clearly lacking a brain and has the wrong attitude.

So why has he only booted out Hock and not the other 3 players who also went out or was Hock the easy option with his record....players have no respect for a 2nd rate coach who has just ballsed up his team.

4 players want on the , none are playing. 1 player missed training, he's out the squad.

Players get a 10 year career at top level so that equates to 2 or possibly 3 world cups in total.



Why would a player throw away a chance to make history and a name for himself because he doesnt rate the coach?

They should all have been booted out for going out on the pi$$ and as for understanding!I understood very well thanks???so if a player turns up 2mins late,will he be booted out as we'll...hock was LATE for training so actually didn't miss it did he.

I'm not defending Hock at all...he is as thick as the proverbial and I thought he was 10 mins late? But why wasn't they all booted out for abusing curfew??? Or should mcbanna have fined them all the money for being in the squad,which,IMO,they shouldn't be paid and played them as let's face it,Hock and Graham vastly improve the team.

Dont know the finer points but it looks like they have all been punished but Hock the most severe because he not only broke the curfew but didnt bother turning up for training the week before we play the Aussies.
