agree the players need to take blame for missed tries and bad plays , but dont you think playing players out of position bad interchanges lack of gametime , too much gametime , must be having an effect on the team .

on paper we have a great team, lack of belief in the coach or tactics must have a massive effect could go on and on but too depressing

We played like the team had only just met. There's just no improvement or Change of tactics at all. You could rewind this performance and it wouldn't look out of place within the past 3 years.

What is shocking about that? Wigan were a pretty average team who scraped into the play-offs a couple of times and never really performed that well. Then McGuire arrived last season and they suddenly became world-beaters. The only new addition was Deacon who spent most of the year injured. I'm pretty sure if McGuire was in charge of Hull rather than Wigan, Hull would win the league.

Peter Sharp's last game as Coach was at the Stoop (May 0icon_cool.gif. Is history about to repeat itself? We can but hope.



Tonight wasn't the worst performance I've ever seen from a Hull side, there was some truly excrutiating displays in 1999, but tonight was the first time in a long while that I've felt we are heading to rock bottom.

It was always going to be the case that had we won, Agar was right to put Long back in. Had we lost, Obst and Horne deserved to continue as they were.



I personally had no issue with putting Long back in at 7 as it gave us a chance to see our first choice halves with Houghton and Obst interchanging at hooker, shame Horney had a bit of a mare. Not a fan of interchange scrum halves but who knows, they could be the new pivotal fullbacks?

Given our record for appointing coaches we won't get what we want. Think of the one coach you wouldn't want and he will get it. The Hull board don't spend big on coaches so why will now be any different?

Thank you for your input - you are so right and I dont think us supporters are going to accept that mediocrity much longer - I really think it is now in the hands of Richard Agar - he needs to wake up in the morning and pick up the phone and tell Kath H that he is resigning. Please dont Ring James Rule, Richard because he will spin you into staying cos really he hasnt the first clue how to go about recruiting your replacement.

PS to everybody I think probably Kath H hasnt either.
