Been shown many times but just a heads up that ESPN Classic are showing a 30 minutes highlights programme of the 1985 Challenge Cup Final next weekend.
It's on at 1.30 next Saturday afternoon, so just time to watch it before this year's final. They are also screening highlights from the 1994, 1996 and 2003 finals.

Just set that to record. It's the game that confirmed me as an RL fan and the first that I watched as an FC supporter. |

As it's a slow news day, I thought I'd start this thread after hearing there's some bloke playing footie for scotland called goodwillie. Peurile I know, but it made me laugh when I heard it. Almost as funny as the german named kuntz (actually, it's most germans I think).
Anyone have any others?

I remember watching an Ice Hockey match on the telly when I was a kid - one of the players was called Jamie Crapper.
Much hilarity ensued as the commentator yelled about "Crapper in the corner", "Crapper pushing through", "Crapper is hot today", etc.
