Rubbish, trying to make out like Agar couldn't win on that one. We were one win from five before today and one of the few bright spots was that for the first time in years we appeared to have a decent halfback partnership developing in Horne and Obst, we were in no position whatsoever to be moving things around to 'have a look at our first choice pairing' etc. Agar changed one of the few things that was working because he didn't have the balls to leave Long out and he deserves to be criticised for that.

I would just like to thank FC for convincing me to stay over for the final day of the Cheltenham Festival rather than come last night to watch was probably a right shower of te tonight.

What's funny? Obst was signed as cover for Houghton aswell as the halves and he is used to coming off the bench.



Indeed but he was always going to be learning from Fitz so it's not really surprising.

I was also of the opinion that long + Horne and Houghton/Obst was the best option. Didn't turn out great.

Believe me I am the last person who would stick up for Agar but if its between Long/Horne and Houghton/Obst or Obst/Horne and Houghton/Washbrook, my personal preference would be the first one.
