Now, presumably if you take a club with 100 years behind them and a large fan base, and merge these with a top 4 super league side, keep all the good players, the directors, coaches etc, offer that new club total and complete dispensation to the amount of over-seas players they can have.
Wipe off all their debts completely, build them a brand new state of the art stadium in the original City which has the 100 year old fan base behind them, let them keep exactly the same name and colours in order to appease any fans.....
and presumably you should have a world beating side right ?
WRONG - you end up with a side which despite all of this can only manage one cup win in the last 13 years. A side which is completely in the headlines for the wrong reasons - drugs offences, playing ineligible players, not getting players to sign contracts and letting them leave the club at their will, a club who pledge their support to the Women's centre in Hull then signs a convicted wife-beater the same week, a club which was run so poorly that the fans constantly shout for the head of the CEO, the coaches etc.
And of course the fans - to show their gratitude to the RFL for all that they have done to try to fabricate success at this hybrid club, they tear down goal posts, throw bottles at players, and brick the away fans' coaches.
Now, what were you saying about underachieving ?'"
i think all that is an achievment how many other clubs can claim to all that news coverage

it seems, from various conversations, that the sooner O'Meley goes to Wakey and smokes, drinks and eats his way through training the better.
he's not going to play for FC again, that is my honest beleif.

not being negative for the sake of it, just seems the weight of evidence suggests O'Meley is a spent force as far as FC are concerned,.
