You claimed Horne has never been a halfback. I pointed out that he's played there most of his career, appeared in 2 major finals in that position, and won a trophy. Also picked in the Dream Team once IIRC.
You claimed he'd never been picked for GB there. I and others pointed out your error.
Seems reasonably substantial to me. |

Richard Horne is not what 2014 HFC needs at six in my opinion. At the moment he is the best we have in that position which again in my opinion is a sad reflection of the position we are in.
Nice bloke.. Has been good, is good at certain things but we have been trying to fit a square peg into a round hole for far to long now

His biggest issue is staying fit.
Not being good enough isn't a problem.
Before getting injured he was the top try assist maker in the league(think he was still in top ten come the end), he'd been voted our player the month 2 times in the opening three. Didn't he also get a super league player of the month as well?? Also was scoring tries and his kicking game was best it had ever been.
Don't think he'll be a starting half come the start of season but he'll be pretty much the best back up in the league. |
