I would say that's about right imo. Tickle although well thought of I don't think he is quite captain material like long wasn't.

Tickle can get a little hot headed and you need a calm player when talking to the ref which is the main reason i wouldnt have Tickle.

Mainwairing

From this seasons play, Tickle appears to be the frontrunner for captaincy. However, I'd hope that Gentle waits a few months to decide it, so he can get a thorough look and opinion on everyone.

Me neither but it might be a token gesture of a new era, and Lynch was captain at Bradford.

Didn't work wi radders, then long and fitz.....no dig at the former tho.

If the players brought in are leaders then let them lead.. take the strain and let the others play without worry

The guy shouldn't be anywhere near our 17, let alone be given the captaincy.

I'd give it to Lynch just to shake things up a bit, if the current players don't like it then tough. Lynch has already said he knows a lot of the current squad so the transition from new boy to captain will be a lot smoother.



I'd like to give Westy the vice captain tag however am in two minds as to whether he will be ready for such a role yet and if it could interfere with his development. I think Tickle or Ogre will be the main two candidates with Tickle getting the nod because in general he is on the field longer.



I wouldn't be surprised however if Horney was given one of the two captain roles.
