Heard this one a month or so ago. Be a good signing athough would rather see Tansey hooking with Houghton than in the halves. Still not convinced his style suits the halves although it give us a good option should we lose Long or Horne for any length of time.

So we we Ben Jones Bishop on a seasons loan, we pay his wages on our cap , he gets a first team place and Leeds end up with a player well bloodied in the super league. This is a very good deal for our up and coming youngsters is it, it sends out all the wrong messages.



Loans during a season for periods are a good thing and help everyone out and whilst I can see it being a good thing for one season, it helps the Rhino's out a lot more then us. We need to develope a squad of players capable of challenging for the top of the Super League, the team will be in flux again come the end of 2011.



We need to sign a player for more then one season or develope our own players and I for one doubt the ability of our current full back to keep his slate clean for a further season.

Whats wrong with playing Whiting at full back he has excelled in that position in the past, if Agar sees Tansey covering other positions. I agree with Ian P its of no benefit to us what must Jack briscoe be thinking if we sign BJB on loan for the season.

BJB is maybe a lot more advance than Briscoe?

Indeed, and it sounds to me like we are avoiding fasttracking Jack into the first team, which is a wise move, we've seen plenty of promising careers amount to nothing having been played too much, too early.

still defeats the object of bringing in BJB what is the point when you got Tansey and Whiting who can play there, again only benefits Leeds.

So we get a good quality Super League experienced player for a season and it only benefits Leeds? really? Whiting can play numerous positions so why tie him down to one, he's utility. Tansey's very hit and miss at FB so it allows him to move up a bit also.

Maybe Whiting will be playing at 13 next season. Maybe Tansey will be covering the hooking with Houghton to allow Berro to play centre. Plus Tansey can cover the halves.



Just a thought.

Whiting to 13? He'll need some work in the gym.

AND despite what has been said, Maybe Tansey won't be here next season!
