| As a Bradford fan, I'm looking forward to Friday. Widnes are my second favourite team after Steve O'Connor's actions last year. I hope you win every game..apart from against us obviously!
Your lads were terrific against Hull...it's gonna be a tough game! Bring it on! We won't forget what your club did to support our club! Widnes a great Rugby League Town!

| Saw the game on friday Hulls didnt stand a chance at times, both teams are carrying injuries we have gale, platt, purtell, evans and pos bateman, disko.
And you are missing brown, marsh and pos phelps, so it should be a good game.
Think widnes and bradford could be a couple of surprises this year, also how much are tickets to the stobart???
Im on call so cant get tickets from bradford incase i cant go so wanting to pay on the day

Agree I can see us having similar seasons to be honest. We'll take down some 'top sides' but may face the odd bashing also. Injuries will play a big part in both sides overall finish but both will be looking at making a play for 8th a long with a few other sides.
Shame sides missing players but should still make for a top game

Fair play to them. Widnes is a great RL town. Although it doesn't have the stature of Warrington.

| Yep Widnes is a great RL town!
Another good performance tonight coming back from 4-20 at half time to 22-22. We've improved massively from last season. Pity about Hock getting sent off. Seemed a bit harsh for swearing!

| I do wonder what was said because I don't recall any time I've ever seen a player sent off for dissent like that. Jimmy Lowes was once binned three times in the same game for mouthing off IIRC and he still wouldn't keep his mouth shut. Very suspect decision unless Hock has said something potentially illegal like racial abuse. If it is indeed just for the usual, annoying.
However it did spur us on somewhat to see that injustice. Couple of their early tries were questionable. One was off the back of a suspect penalty and then there was the grounding decision. I said at the time he had a good view of it so I'd give him the benefit but that was before our reaction and subsequent sending off.
Proud of the lads, shouldn't have got off on such a bad foot but they more than made up for it. DOn't think I have ever seen a team of 12 men make a comeback like that, if we'd have gone on to win it would have been one of my all time best matches. There was that catch 22 moment. Got them on the ropes, we get a kickable penalty, do we go to the corner or slot it over for the two? Still don't know if we did the right thing but you can't grumble too much with the team. Just the silly sending off which was either Hock endorsing Hitler or Hicks getting way too carried away (again, against Widnes, as always), either way we fans were hard done to by it.
