Well done on your impressive fightback, we were lucky to get away with a point. Seems a strange decision for Hock to be sent off for dissent, very harsh unless there is more to it. That said the back chatting seems to have been creeping into our game so maybe it will set an example, don't want to end up like football!

Paul Wellens doesn't swear at the ref. He used to moan and complain but he didn't swear. There is a difference you know. Hock is a thug and a verbally abusive one too. It comes as no surprise to anyone that he was sent off for mouthing off at the ref.

Can't pretend I ain't gutted about letting that one slip, however that can't detract from your boys efforts in that second. Just way hungrier in every aspect of the game.



Would have been a cracking game for the neutrals I bet, but just a bit too heart attack inducing for both teams concerned.

Danny brough got sent off for Wakefield against crusaders a few years back for telling ref to something off. Think got 2 or 3 matches for this. Hock sending off might have been same thing which is more like abusive language rather than dissent. Even if hock wasn't aiming it directly at the official with all the noise going on the official might have took it this way and prooving otherwise at the disciplinary will be a none starter.

Same here. Think you've got a great outfit together and you just need to work on finishing a game and keeping on top but I can see someone has studied your glory years and figured out a big imposing squad can get you very far.

I'm surprised by a red card for dissent, while I agree that the refs should be penalising and sin binning for talking back, I find a red card over the top.

If widnes can perform like that against the teams who will make up the bottom 6 places cant see them not getting into the playoffs, tremendous effort from 12 men who stuck to the game plan and could easily if not deservedly won it but a point a piece is prob the fair result (a bradford won the 1st half widnes the 2nd)

I'd agree with that Broady. If we can get our injured lads back and keep free from major injuries we could be knocking on the top 8 door. Still punching above our weight as we are only a few games into our 2nd season but boy are we enjoying it!

how do you know he doesn't? he certainly doesn't appear to be saying "Excuse me sir is it possible you are mistaken with that decision?"
