It shows the level of contempt he has for the muppets questioning his decision making.
It makes me love him more.
They aren't fit to lick the steam of his rose scented sh*t.

Cullen started the revival, Smith took it to the next level IMO.

| It will be good to have Widnes back in SL and the club deserves congratulations not just on getting in but on the patient way they dealt with the last three years to build for the future. What posters like Paul2812 and 1977 seem to be unable to grasp is that they have a rival side who deserve respect. Warrington are enjoying a good time right now but Widnes will be working hard to step up to being contenders. As some on here have understood, this may take longer to achieve than you would wish. The current Wire side was largely built by Paul Cullen, and although Tony Smith has proved the better ( and the truly inspirational ) coach I'm sure he's pretty pleased with a lot of his PC-acquired squad members. Widnes may have to go through similar ups-and-downs before reaching top-four class, especially as Leeds, Pies, Saints, Wire and one or two more won't be just lying down and passing on the baton of success.
At the end of the day I'll be as vocal as any Wire fan wanting victories over Widnes when it comes down to it, but great matches like our win at the Pies only come when the opposition is also a good side, so welcome back to the club and I'm sure you'll be under no illusions that it will be a warm welcome.

| Wire fans slag Cullen off too much. He still saved you from relegation, if not for him you'd never be in the position you are in today

| Quote Paddy_88="Paddy_88"We already go to France.
A decent following of away fans and the big match nerves before a game.'"
Just scrolling through but this stood out for me! That's what I really miss, I love the Championship day's out (home games are tizer) but the match doesn't have the same buzz around it as in SL (Ok maybe Fax & Leigh). In SL you'd be around the ground 2/3 hours before kick off, see people streaming down the road to the stadium, in 30mins before feeling the excitement.
Was at Saints last night and the atmosphere is ten times better with two set's of fans even if just a few hundred from HKR. Plenty of people walking about the stadium, having to look a bit for a seat at first, you can't beat it... bring it on!

Some do, not all. He did save us from relegation, and built a useful team that could beat anyone ( apart from Saints ) on their day. PC just lacked that certain something to take us right to the top. No disgrace there given that very few coaches have won the GF for their clubs.

The atmosphere, in other words away fans to chant at, that has been missing to long!
Decent refs.
Match reports, news and opinions etc when I put on teletext or read a paper. If you aren't SL the press ain't intrested.
Watching top class games win or lose.
Derby games.
I could go on.
We are super league etc

The best post on the thread so far because it sums up why we want to be in super league very nicely. We're going to be in the mix, not an afterthought.
I want to see widnes players representing their country again, and challenge cup hopes that stretch beyond, "I hope we get Wigan at home so we can go out with a big crowd".
