Im 90% correct with most of the things i say, had Paul signed for Widnes you would have laughed your little Wigan heads off. Well past his best.

Robbie Paul will be playing to his standard in champ one next season i am 90% sure of that.

Wouldn't be surprised.. he's a very good player but I think you will get more game time from Daryl Powell.



If you are getting both Morrison and Fletch you will suffer in exactly the same way we did this year but with the reduced cap next year you won't be able to rely on getting loan players in to cover.

Am sorry but Bullucks if Fletch, Morro & Grashin will be at fliiping Fev next year.. fact! They offer nothing in terms of SL bid, they no that now too so why move bar money? Oh yea they reckon also spending most of this years cap... give over!

That's all very well and good, but what team will crusaders put out next year? I think we need to know.

Apparently at the POM awards last night the following players were confirmed as staying next year which should qualm the nervers a little.

Gaskell, TKL, Varkulis, Thackery, Webster, Gannon, Smith, Doran and Kavanagh



Personally I am delighted with that... Webster and Thackery have developed an excellent understanding this year and will hopefully go from strength to strength next year. It's fantastic to see a proper half-back pairing at the club for some time. Sentimentally I'm made up Smith is staying with us and we now know that the Leythers actually love him and would have loved him in their side so the uncertainty was well worth it. He's still the heartbeat of the club for me.



Gannon, Doran and Kavanagh have all impressed and with the signings of Ford and Pickersgil the squad is definately already taking shape. Gaskell tireless as ever and still dangerous close to the line and it would have been hard to have replaced TKL's quality. Varkulis has also shown what a crafty player he can be. Excited now to see what new signings will be made but I'm massively relieved that we have such an excellent nucleus to the squad.. and from what I'm hearing plenty of room still under the reduced cap.. some good renegotiating being done at the club.



Looks like Doddy is on his way.. so all the best to him and thanks for the commitment when it was needed. Morro and Fletch moving on but it might be prudent given the cap and the amount of game time we actually got from them both.

Delighted with that also!

Why , if they packed in tomorrow their place would be given to another expansion club surely eg Gateshead.
