Feel very, very sorry for Taulapapa, if that is the case (positively lachrymose today, aren't I?) - he seemed really up for grabbing his opportunity. Poor form from Rovers I'd say (if true). Signing or just about signing the lad and then to suddenly pull the plug based on one game. Still, this is a potential problem when signing players without the coach in place.

I recall someone asked if Sando was happy with our signings from Crusaders - he didn't exactly give a ringing endorsement about them - just, we've got them now and I'm more than happy to work with them.

Probably more to do with the fact that the lad loves a dust up, much like Charlie pre-super league. They were willing to take a chance then he proved in the final he's still a bit hot headed, his twitter picture for a long while was him fighting.



Can you sign someone like that after cutting ties with one? Seems hypocritical.

Bit of a difference having a bit of biff on the pitch and the other stuff that I can't be bothered to talk about any more.

I think I'd rather they did it off the pitch, at least then you retain a full team for 80mins and are less likely to have bans.



That's from a team perspective, from a spectators perspective I say let them all fight, even with the officials.

Just managed to watch a compilation of his tries on a youtube video, he looks to have great offload abbility and puts in some realy big hits also.

Knights bought him from the Warriors as a boom junior a few years ago.



He played in the Knights under 20s for a year, during which time he played a few games at 5/8 and really fancied himself as a playmaker, but mostly he played second row or lock.



In the seniors he has played 14 games of firstgrade in 2 years, mostly as a bench second rowers.



He didn't get many games this year, and none at all for the last half of the season when he was obviously not wanted at the club, but I saw him play his last regular season game in the seconds and he was in career best form I reckon.

He hits like a truck in defence, and he does have a few passing skills in attack.

Not a big forward, but he hits above his weight and is pretty mobile.

Has played for Samoa.

I would say he is fringe NRL standard now, and has a fair bit of improvement in him.
